The Great Pancake Mystery

Initially, I did not like Voice Thread at all. I felt like the directions were not clear and it was extremely complicated. Once I uploaded my pictures and tried out different things I realized it was not quite as hard as I thought. As I started recording I thought it was fun and including my friend as my guest speaker made it even more enjoyable. My biggest problem was getting my audio to come out clear, something that I never quite could get worked out. This technology would be a fun and different activity to use in my classroom. I think it would be a great group project for upper elementary or middle school students. It would be a fun way to have all the students speak in a "presentation" but not have to speak in front of the class. They would have fun making it and if they were afraid of public speaking it would be more comfortable for them. This would also be a good way for students to showcase their writing and allow other students to leave their comments on their classmate's work. I think the possibilities for using Voice Thread in the classroom are endless and I'm looking forward to trying it out in different situations in the future.
